What is useful to send

Corrections from people who have actually submitted a form are the most valuable thing this site receives. If you are writing about a size figure, please include:

• the exam, board or portal you applied to, and the post or category if it matters;
• the exact limits the form stated — minimum and maximum, in KB;
• the required pixel dimensions, if the form gave them;
• a link to the official notification if you have one to hand.

If you are writing about the tool itself, useful details are your browser and version, your device, and roughly how large the original photo was. A photo that failed to compress is worth attaching only if you are comfortable sending it — this site never sees your files, so an example is the only way to reproduce a format-specific problem.

What I cannot help with

• Your application. I have no connection to any exam board or portal and cannot check, submit, correct or expedite anything.
• Recovering a photo. Nothing is stored. Once the tab is closed there is no copy anywhere, including with me.
• Individual photo checks. If the result looks soft, the size guide explains what the quality and dimension trade-off is doing and which setting to change.
